About us
IN CANTÙ SINCE 1981
cantù Ottone
Founded in Cantù in 1981 as a small artisan business producing brass beds, the company has evolved over the years to become a benchmark in metalworking and finishing. The professionalism and experience of our team, together with technique and precision, have enabled Cantù Ottone to become today a company highly specialized in custom furnishings and metal accessories.
Combining craftsmanship and technology, creativity and quality, the company creates customized, tailor-made products enhanced by a touch of design and a taste for refined research, with one single goal: to make every project unique thanks to attention to detail at every stage of development according to artisanal tradition.
Thanks to state-of-the-art machinery, selected and used to deliver higher quality and precision, Cantù Ottone’s creations fully satisfy the customer’s needs.
Our team is composed of:
– a design office, which handles the study and fine-tuning of the project and its details down to the smallest particulars;
– a rough-processing department, which expertly works the raw materials;
– a finishing and assembly department that takes care of the product’s final processes;
– In-house design is the beating heart of our company: every idea is conceived, takes shape, and is developed entirely within our technical office. This allows us to ensure maximum consistency between concept and execution, full control over every project phase, and the ability to respond promptly and precisely to each client’s specific needs.
Sustainability and Recycling: the Circular Economy Cycle of Cantù Ottone
Strategies and technologies to transform metal waste into new raw material, benefiting both the environment and business competitiveness
In an era where environmental responsibility is crucial, Cantù Ottone has implemented a circular economy model to manage production waste in a virtuous way. Every production phase — from laser cutting to milling, from bending to painting — generates metal residues that, if not handled properly, become a source of pollution and additional costs. The company has adopted separate collection systems and automated sorting, capable of separating brass, steel, aluminum, and copper with high purity.
Subsequently, the scrap is sent to in-house recycling processes or delivered to specialized partners, ensuring its reuse in new production cycles. This practice not only reduces environmental impact but also delivers significant economic benefits: reducing waste lowers disposal costs, while recovering materials reduces the purchase of virgin raw materials.
To support this strategy, Cantù Ottone has invested in advanced filtration and extraction technologies to minimize dust and particulate emissions, improving air quality within the plant and protecting employees’ health. In addition, the adoption of low-impact paints and the use of less toxic solvents confirm the company’s commitment to cleaner production processes.
The company also promotes continuous monitoring of energy consumption, with the installation of smart sensors to optimize the use of electrical and thermal energy. With a view to continuous improvement, production and recycling data are analyzed each year to identify new opportunities for savings and further emission reductions.
Thanks to these initiatives, Cantù Ottone not only complies with the strictest environmental regulations but also builds a sustainable competitive advantage, offering the market high-quality metal components with a low environmental footprint.
